In 1993, two young men in Provo, Utah were running their own successful businesses down the street from each other. Sean Collins and Dave Rutter became great friends and also developed a solid business partnership. Soon, ideas for the FatCats dream began to take shape. The question was what would happen if they built a facility that put state-of-the-art bowling, great food and family entertainment under one roof? After a year or so, the details were in place. They purchased a site in Salt Lake City, widened their partnership to include a few friends, and launched into construction. They partnered with the Pizza Factory, one of Utah's most popular restaurant chains, and after two years of hard work, in August 2001 the doors opened for the very first FatCats.
