Big Carpet was incorporated in early 1997 by its founder, Dennis Bigelow, after 13 years in the flooring industry, so as to provide better quality and service to discerning Utah customers. Starting from his home office in Clearfield, Dennis began to sell quality flooring to customers who wanted an alternative to the larger, impersonal stores. Demand soon required that he move to an office in Layton. From there Big Carpet has grown to it's current location in Farr West, Utah.
